Energy Efficiency Reports
BERS Software Simulation For Generating a Star Rating, DTS Reports class 1 & 10 Structures & Section J reports Class 2-9
If you are planning to build a new Residential Dwelling, Granny Flat or extend your current home, Local Government within Qld requires an energy efficiency Report
Alternatively, If you are looking at construction of a commercial property a Section J Report will be required.

Whole of Home energy assessments
In 2022, the National Construction Code introduced an annual energy use budget for new residential buildings. The Whole of Home rating is used to demonstrate compliance with this energy efficiency requirement. It measures the energy use of the entire home including appliances, solar and batteries.
As well as making homes more comfortable, updates to the NCC minimum energy efficiency requirements will also help new homeowners save on their power bills every year.
